PalmerSport, the leading operator of prestige corporate motorsport events, owning and operating the Bedford Autodrome circuit complex, is looking for an enthusiastic Tyre Fitter to join their PalmerSport engineering department.

This role will involve working within the engineering team, maintaining our high-performance fleet of BMW M4s, Formula 3000s, Ginetta G56 GTAs, JP-LMs and Caterhams as well as a whole host of site maintenance vehicles. Ensuring all vehicles are fitted with suitable tyres for our corporate event days.

Main job duties will include:

• Changing and swapping out tyres during our cooperate event days
• Wheel cleaning, inspection, and wheel balancing
• Assist with any event duties in our pit lane
• Use a variety of cleaning tools to ensure maximum level of cleanliness
• Liaise with the Workshop and Fleet Manager to ensure cars are ready in time for events
• Working with the Workshop Manager to ensure suitable stock of tyres

For this tyre fitting role, you will be / have:

• A willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous tyre fitting experience (desirable)
• Flexibility around hours and weekend working
• Ability to work efficiently but quickly in order to meet strict deadlines
